Chillis

...is seriously deteriorating, in terms of service AND standards.

First of all, when we asked for a waitress to take our order, she gave us this disapproving look before nodding grudgingly and then asking another waitress to do it instead.

Second of all, you seem to have to travel to the moon and back just to flag down ANYONE to ask for refills or whatever.

I remember the first time I went to Chillis, back when it only had one little lot over in BSC. Everyone was nice, and no matter how crowded the place was, someone would always care enough to come by every 10 minutes or so to ask how the food is, just in case we needed assistance of any sort.

And the food, don't even get me started.

The chicken crispers should have been called 'Fried flour, with tiny little strips of chicken inside'.

And seriously, you decided to cut away so many ingredients from the nachos, and serve nacho chips with some bland tasting cheese-like stuff on top and you think people won't notice the difference from its rich, flavourful counterpart that you used to serve?

Shame on you. Seriously.

I say it's probably time to look for another Mexican restaurant. Maybe one that isn't an arrogant, cocky bloodsucking food establishment that seems to not mind offending loyal customers just because it has 4 outlets already and each is always filled to the brim.

Sooner or later, people will see what rubbish you've become and go elsewhere.

Just another day at work

I think they let just anyone manage the phone at offices these days. You know how I regularly go to NotAlwaysRight? Well, here is a real-life, it happened to me, genuine, the customer IS right situation.

Lately, I've been in charge of applying for a grant for one of my company's sister companies. One of the terms of the grant is that the applicant has to provide 3 different quotations from 3 different suppliers for items which it wishes to purchse and claim. There I was, on my search, getting through (on the phone) to really nice people who even offered to get quotations for items they didn't sell, when I came across two such conversations:

Idiot: Hello?! (Bear in mind that good companies/receptionists always answer the phone with "Hello, (insert company name)" and the optional "(insert name) speaking. She obviously did none of these)

Me: Hi, my name is Azurin from ___________.

Idiot: Yes?

Me: My company is surveying some items, and we'd like quotations for them, I wonder if-

Idiot: HAH? SERVING?

Me: Surveying

Idiot: HAH?

Me:... LOOKING FOR. BUYING. We're looking for some items and-

Idiot: ITEMS?! WHAT ITEMS?!
(At this point, I'm thinking, "Wait, maybe I got the wrong number"

Me: This is ___________ right?

Idiot: Yes.

Me: You sell computer stuff right?

Idiot: Yes.

Me: Oookk. So here are the items I'm looking for. Do you have a Dell Server?

Idiot: Yes.

Me: Ok, do you supply Apple Computers?

Idiot: Yes.

Me: What about Adobe softwares?

Idiot: (in very bored tones) YYeeeesssssss.

Me: Okay, so can I get quotations for those items, please?

Idiot: (Without another word, transfers me on to someone else who was nicer, more accommodating and more knowledgable. Thank God)

Ugghh. What a moron. Seriously.

Needless to say, the other similar conversation went along those lines too. Seriously, if you're idiotic enough to not know that computer hardware/software YOUR company sells are considered ITEMS too, maybe you should go back to school. Better yet, maybe you should learn some friggin manners while you're at it.

AVILLION ADMIRAL COVE PD

1. Upon arriving, we were horrified to find out that at least two walls were covered in tarp, still under construction

2. On the ground floor driveway, there were white boards covering a portion of the place, indicating that there were sections still not ready

3. After scrutinizing the windows/sliding doors from outside, it was obvious that a whole lot of rooms were still unfurnished, and seemingly incomplete

4. They had just laid down the welcome mats

5. There was no direct access to the carpark from the lift since they CLOSED IT DOWN due to construction

6. The carpark was glaringly under construction, with sounds of drills and hammering echoing through the lobby

7. Upon entering our room, about 5 minutes later, some guys knocked on the door claiming that they had wanted to DO SOME MAINTENANCE WORK ON THE ROOM and had no idea that guests had just checked in

8. A portion of the wall of the room was not painted properly yet

(The next few are mengada complaints on my part. They were due to circumstances, not the fault of the resort or the staff itself)

9. There was no balconey

10. There was no beach

11. I couldn't hear the waves! ALl I could hear from my window was drilling and the sound of the vent of the marina club downstairs

(back to proper compaints now)

12. When we tried to check out, they claimed that they could not refund our money because we had booked on fucking line.

13. they did NOTHING to compensate our dissatisfaction

14.They insisted we pay up the full amount.

TAPIIIIII...

15. When my mother in law called to yell at them, boleh la pulaakkkk refund our money. Macam mana tu?

My question is, my dear Avillion Admiral Cove administration

1. Why, oh, why did you not warn people on your website that YOU WERE NOT READY TO RECEIVE GUESTS?

2. Do you always pull con-jobs on your guests?

3. Oh, and by the way, I overheard a conversation one of your receptionists had with a potential guest who wanted to book a night there, I HEARD NO WARNINGS WHATSOEVER ABOUT THE INCOMPLETE STATE OF YOUR RESORT.

TOLONG LAH JAWAB, and spare me those "sorry sir, ma'am. There's abso-fucking-lutely nothing we can do. SO sorry so sorry so sorry". Those you can shove up your ass. ( I realise that these people won't have the time to read this but it makes me feel good ranting anyway)

To the BAYU BEACH RESORT

Thanks

1. Simply for being complete and NOT UNDER CONSTRUCTION
2. For not being pretentious
3. For not being fully booked
4. For having a balconey
5. For giving us a seaview room
6. From which I can hear the waves
7. For actually having a beach out back.

*On another note, I would like to state here the the AVILLION ADMIRAL COVE would probably be a really nice resort WHEN IT IS FINALLY OFFICIALLY COMPLETE. TAPII sebab they tried to pull one over us, I'd just like to recommend you NOT TO GO THERE. hmph. puas hati.
