My husband just sent me an article in The Star that made me laugh out loud. Apparently, some female uni students are set on not wearing any panties come Valentines Day in order to 'prove their true love for their boyfriends'.
Now, we've all seen that propaganda on Facebook where women post up colours and their relationship statuses in secret code in order to so-called confuse the boys, and I have to admit, I did it too, all in the name of fun, but this is absolutely ridiculous.
Seriously, girls, what do you want to prove by not wearing any panties on that day? How much easier it is for the guys to get into your pants on Valentines Day? And honestly, what is up with the whole 'We will know how many by Valentines evening'? Were you, by any chance, also planning to lift up your skirts to show the world how much you 'love' your boyfriends? Or were you just thinking about feeling up all the other girls and counting just how many of them decided to go through with this ridiculous crap?
Women have been fighting for their rights since the 19th century. Congratulations. You've just set us back by a whole century.
